<p>A method and apparatus for operation and maintenance of a network device are disclosed by the present invention, which relate to the field of operation and maintenance of wireless mobile communication networks. The method includes: an operation and maintenance center (OMC) system and a local maintenance terminal (LMT) system are connected to a network device simultaneously; if the OMC system transfers its own configuration authorities on the network device to the LMT system, then, during the valid period of the configuration authority transfer, the LMT system not only has its own configuration authorities on the network device, but also has the transferred configuration authorities on the network device. By the technical solutions of the present invention, the OMC system and the LMT system can be connected simultaneously, and the mutually exclusive operation of the OMC system and the LMT system is enabled.</p> |
