摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of attaining at least one of: widening an irradiating range by one light-emitting substrate; and illuminating a range corresponding to a joint between the light-emitting substrates. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device 4 includes a light-emitting element chip 22 and a lens array 80. The light-emitting element chip 22 has a plurality of light-emitting elements E. Each light-emitting element E is a first light-emitting portion arranged on the light-emitting element chip 22, or a second light-emitting portion arranged at a location closer to an end of the light-emitting element chip 22 than the first light-emitting portion. The lens array 80 has a plurality of microlenses M respectively opposite to the plurality of light-emitting elements E. An emitting direction of light on the first light-emitting portion coincides with a straight line vertically extending from a light-emitting surface of the first light-emitting section.
