<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an improvement in focusing accuracy when a dedicated sensor is used. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises an imaging element 6 having focus detection pixels, an AF sensor 8 for detecting a phase difference between two images of a subject in a secondary imaging surface, and an MPU 20 for focusing based on a defocus amount at a focus detection point obtained from the AF sensor 8 and setting a correction value for correcting a defocus amount obtained from a next detection result of the AF sensor 8 so as to reduce a difference between the aforementioned defocus amount and a defocus amount at a focus detection point obtained from focus detection pixels of a photographed image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
