<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road reflecting mirror having a photovoltaic panel as charging power source and a capability of preventing dew condensation with an electric fan, capable of reducing the area required for the photovoltaic panel to achieve low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a road reflecting mirror having an electric fan 31 arranged in the internal space R between a mirror surface 21 and a lid 22 on the back of the mirror surface that agitates the air in the internal space R to keep the temperature of the mirror surface equal to or higher than the dew point, the electric fan 31 is periodically turned on and off under the conditions that the temperature of the mirror surface is kept equal to or higher than the dew point. Unnecessary actuation of the electric fan 31 is thereby prevented, enabling reduction in the power consumption to the level equivalent to the sum of power during the ON periods. As a result, the area of a photovoltaic panel SP as charging power supply for a source battery 33 of the electric fan 31 can be substantially reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
