<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input terminal device that can respond to sudden operation by a user with shortcut keys displayed and in which the shortcut keys do not affect an image. <P>SOLUTION: A layout function 4 displays shortcut key layout on a display 2 when the display 2 is started up, and exercises control so as to change the display on the display 2 to normal key layout in a predetermined period after the start-up of the display 2. When the shortcut key layout is changed to the normal key layout, a blank template is inserted as a changeover screen.
