<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control program for setting a print port even when a common printer driver is executed according to user authority. <P>SOLUTION: This print control program is configured of a common printer driver and a monitoring program to be commonly used for a plurality of types of printers. The common printer driver is configured to make a computer function as a selection means for selecting any printer from among one or more printers and a writing means for writing location information showing the location on a communication network of the printer selected by the selection means in setting information, and the monitoring program is configured to make the computer function as a writing monitoring means for detecting the writing of the location information by monitoring the setting information and a port setting means for, when the writing of the location information is detected by the writing monitoring means, setting a logical print port in which the written location information is set as a print port for use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
