<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polarizing compact which is strong against impact and has a high polarization degree, for example, goggles, sunglasses, or spectacles which are strong against impact and have high antiglare performance. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing compact has a laminate structure having a polarizer sheet layer held between two protective sheets, and one protective sheet and polyurethane sheet layer or a polyamide sheet layer are joined by an adhesive or a binder, and the polyurethane sheet layer or the polyamide sheet layer and a thermoformed resin layer are thermally bonded. Another technical means of this invention is a method for manufacturing the polarizing compact, which prepares a polarizing plate having a structure where a polarizer sheet layer is held between two protective sheets, prepares a polarizing complex where a polyurethane sheet layer or a polyamide sheet layer is joined to one protective sheet of the polarizing plate, forms the polarizing complex into a spherical shape body by hot press, and thermally forms a thermoformed resin layer on the polyurethane sheet layer or the polyamide sheet layer of the spherical shape body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
