<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply grasp the transition of a photographing place. <P>SOLUTION: Positional information on a video camera body is obtained from a GPS 105 at predetermined time intervals and recorded in a position history table. When a power is turned on, on the basis of information recorded in the position history table, a transition image generation unit 122 generates transition image data showing the positional transition of the video camera body.
