<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device 20 capable of providing a user with an optimum operational environment in accordance with the intended use of a vehicle 15. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device 20 of the present invention includes: a search information storage part 21 for storing a preferential search information, which is information on a searching method having priority, corresponding to an intended use information representing the intended use of the vehicle 15; a search information extraction part 23 for reading the intended use information from an attached record medium 14 and extracting the preferential search information corresponding to the read intended use information from the search information storage part 21; a facility search part 25 for searching a facility name which is considered as a destination point based on the operation of a user via an input device 200 after preferentially displaying a search method corresponding to the extracted preferential search information on an display device 201; a route search part 26 for searching a route to the destination point in such a way that a searched facility is considered as the destination point; and a route guidance part 28 for performing route guidance based on the searched route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
