<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat having a resilience adjusting plate to be moved vertically for adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: A plate body 11 formed of a single plate is attached to a backrest frame 3 so as to be moved back and forth via an elastic member 12 with respect to the backrest frame 3. On the front face of the plate body 11, a resilience adjusting plate 15 formed of a single plate that is moved back and forth with respect to the plate body 11 is provided. The resilience adjusting plate 15 is curved forward by a curving cable 16 to move a pressing area T of a predetermined part of the resilience adjusting plate 15 back and forth for adjusting the position of a predetermined part on the front face of the backrest seat 2, and is vertically movable with respect to the plate body 11.
