<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metal foil with a resin not only having low stress and high adhesion force but also excelling in environment resistance such as heat resistance and moisture resistance, and suitably used as a material of a high-density board used for an on-vehicle application or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This metal foil with a resin has a structure including, at least on one surface of the metal foil, a resin layer formed of a resin composition containing an epoxy resin. In the metal foil with a resin, the resin composition contains a silane compound represented by the following average composition formula (1): XaYbZcSiOd (1), wherein X's are identical to or different from each other and each represents an organic skeleton containing an imide bond; Y's are identical to or different from each other and each represents at least one kind selected from a group comprising a hydrogen atom, a hydroxide group, a halogen atom and an OR group; Z's are identical to or different from each other and each represents an organic group without containing an imide bond; R's are identical to or different from each other and each represents at least one group selected from a group comprising an alkyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group and an unsaturated aliphatic residue, and may be a substituted group; a, b and c are each 0 or a number less than 3; d is a number less than 2 without being 0; and a+b+c+2d=4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
