<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of receiving a broadcast and communicating excellently, and a signal switching circuit used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal has a broadcast receiving function to receive a broadcast and a communication function to communicate with a base station, and comprises: an antenna to receive a signal; communication processing means to process a communication signal included in the received signal; broadcast processing means to process a broadcast signal included in the received signal; signal switching means to input the received signal in at least one of the communication processing means or the broadcast processing means; and control means.
