<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate an operational frequency band of an A/D converter and to reduce receiver power consumption in a receiver capable of concurrently communicating in one or more communication frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver 1 includes a plurality of receiving blocks Rx Blk(a-e) for communicating with RF signals of communication bands, a matrix switch (22), and at least two or more A/D converters (23-27). The plurality of receiving blocks respectively include low noise amplifiers (2-6), mixers (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) and local signal generators (12-16). In the receiver 1, receiving analog signals from the plurality of receiving blocks are connected to the matrix switch (22). In the matrix switch, in accordance with the number of RF receiving signals received concurrently and a receiving signal frequency bandwidth of each RF receiving signal, a connection path of each receiving analog signal to the A/D converters (23-27) is switched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
