<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate an operational frequency band of an A/D converter and to reduce receiver power consumption in a receiver capable of concurrently communicating in one or more communication frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver 1 includes a plurality of receiving blocks Rx Blk(a-e) for communicating with RF signals of communication bands, a matrix switch (22), and at least two or more A/D converters (23-27). The plurality of receiving blocks respectively include low noise amplifiers (2-6), mixers (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) and local signal generators (12-16). In the receiver 1, receiving analog signals from the plurality of receiving blocks are connected to the matrix switch (22).
