<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system for reducing data quantity to be updated and communication quantity due to the transmission and reception of update information in case of updating content. <P>SOLUTION: In a content update management server 106, a CPU acquires update information including the update section and update content of content in response to an inquiry from terminal equipment 102, and when determining that the update information has been acquired, the CPU transmits the update information as an inquiry result to the terminal equipment 102. In the terminal equipment 102, an HDD stores the content, and the CPU makes an inquiry for the presence/absence of the update of the content to the content update management server 106, and a communication I/F receives the update information, and the CPU specifies the update section of the content based on the received update information, and rewrites the content of the specified update section in the content stored in the HDD so that the update content included in the received update information can be reflected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
