<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine breather device preventing oil flowing back from the side of an oil pan from being mixed into intake air. <P>SOLUTION: In this breather device 1, oil mist in blowby gas is separated by a mist separator 35, the blowby gas after the oil mist is separated is restored with a gas pipe 37 as a gas passage to an intake pipe 39 as the intake system of an engine 2; meanwhile, the oil separated from the blowby gas is recovered into the oil pan 41 through an oil pipe 40 as an oil passage. A first ball valve 43 as a first check valve preventing the backward flow of the oil from the side of the oil pan 41 to the side of the mist separator 35 is provided in the oil pipe 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
