<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a use period of a processor, while keeping reliability in a whole system, by managing the arrangement configuration of the processor in the system, based on a secular change characteristic of a failure rate in the processor concerning a method and device for managing the arrangement configuration of the processor. <P>SOLUTION: An each-server risk management part 1-1 manages a risk level of each processor, based on assignment of processes to be processed by the processor such as the server, etc., and the risk levels of the processes. A secular deterioration estimating server extraction part 1-2 and an exhaustion deterioration estimating server extraction part 1-3 extract the processor with the secular deterioration, based on the secular change characteristic of the failure rate in each processor. A process re-allocation determination part 1-4 and a server rearrangement processing part 1-5 replace the secularly deteriorated processor with another processor. In this case, a service degree based on the secular change characteristic is determined in response to the risk level of the server to be replaced, and then, replacement is performed so as to prolong a server utilization period as much as possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
