<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence associating system and a sentence associating program that execute, when association between sentences related to practical conduct of business is to be established, association between a plurality of sentences. <P>SOLUTION: A sentence associating system 100 associates a sentence for practical conduct of business contained in a practical conduct of business sentence DB22 with a core sentence contained in a core sentence DB21. In doing so, the system figures out a degree of sentence similarity as a measure of identity between words contained in the core sentence and words contained in the sentence for practical conduct of business. Furthermore, each sentence for practical conduct of business is associated with the core sentence that gives the maximum sentence similarity thereto.
