<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo supercharger that achieves a reduction in the number of components and the number of connecting flanges with exhaust passages or the like regarding the arrangement of a bypass exhaust passage, bypassing a high-pressure-stage turbine, and an exhaust-flow-passage selector valve in an internal combustion engine having a sequential-type multi-stage supercharging system. <P>SOLUTION: The turbo superchargers 10, 10A are respectively connected from an exhaust manifold 2a of an internal combustion engine 2 to an exhaust outlet 2b directed to an exhaust passage. Each turbo supercharger includes: a main exhaust passage 13 arranged with a turbine 12; and a bypass exhaust passage 14 provided so as to allow the whole amount of exhaust gas G, discharged from the exhaust outlet 2b, to pass therethrough. The main exhaust passage 13 and the bypass exhaust passage 14 are integrally provided with each other. An inlet-side connection port 11 of the two integrally-provided passages 13, 14 is formed so as to be connected by its flange to one of flanges of the exhaust outlet 2b formed in the exhaust manifold 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
