摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease circuit power consumption immediately before a charge end in a boost charging circuit for a xenon lamp lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: A boost charging circuit comprises: switching boost means to step-up input voltage; charging means to rectify and smoothen the output of the switching boost means; detection means to detect a charging status of the charging means; and control means to control the output of the switching boost means based on the signal from the detection means. The detection means comprises: a voltage detection part to detect a divided voltage value of charging voltage of the charging means; and a current detection part to detect a charging current of the charging means. The boost circuit is configured to control the switching boost means, so that the sum of the divided voltage value and the voltage value corresponding to the charging current maintains a constant value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
