<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stone trapping quality while suppressing the generation of cracks and the lowering of a wet property in at a bottom. <P>SOLUTION: A space between a central circumferential groove 3 extending on a tire equator C and a pair of crown circumferential grooves 4 extending at both sides of the groove 3 is divided into many crown blocks 5 by a crown lateral groove 6. The crown blocks 5 are circumferentially subdivided into two block pieces 5A and 5B by a crown narrow groove 12. The crown lateral groove 6 is inclined at an angle α of 10-30° with respect to a tire axial direction. The crown lateral groove 6 is formed at the groove bottom with a tie bar 15 for connecting the circumferentially adjacent two crown blocks to each other. Each of a groove depth H3 of the central circumferential groove 3 and a groove depth H6i of the lateral groove 6i nearer to the tire axial direction inside rather than the tie bar 15 in the crown lateral groove 6 is shallower than a groove depth H4 of each of the crown circumferential grooves 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
