<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine dioxide generator free from risk of liquid dripping, while compactifying the generator and allowing carrying a generation source for chlorine dioxide, and also free from a problem in release of chlorine dioxide gas. <P>SOLUTION: This chlorine dioxide generator 10 includes a flexible cylindrical container body 12; the container body 12 includes a gas discharge port 14 constituted of a gas permeable and water nonpermeable body 37, and is constituted to seal a portion other than the gas discharge port 14 so as to be formed into water nonpermeable structure; inside of the container body 12, a slow-release agent 18 containing an acidic substance A dissolved in water to exhibit acidity is stored, and an easily breakable enclosing body 20 hermetically enclosing an aqueous chlorite solution B is stored; the enclosing body 20 is broken by bending the container body 12 into a circular-arc form, to bring the aqueous chlorite solution into contact with the slow-release agent 18 containing the acidic substance, and the chlorine dioxide generated thereby is evolved to an outside of the container body 12 via the gas discharge port 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
