<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve speed to detect a target object included in an image. <P>SOLUTION: An area of a standard pattern is divided radially into two or more areas from an arbitrary area division central point, and a standard pattern pixel position at the maximum distance from the area division central point is selected as a representative point of the standard pattern for each divided area. An area of a determination pattern is divided into two or more areas using the area division central point under the same conditions as the step of selecting the representative point of the standard pattern, and a determination pattern pixel position at the maximum distance from the area division central point is selected as a representative point of the determination pattern for each divided area. A positional difference between a coordinate of the representative point of the standard pattern and a coordinate of the representative point of the determination pattern in the corresponding divided area is obtained, and when the positional difference is within a predetermined range at every divided area, the determination pattern is judged as a target object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
