摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic balance which has low power consumption and is not affected by energization drift regardless of air temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic balance includes an input device 5 for setting use start/end time, temperature measuring means, a clocking device 6 for transmitting a time signal, a power on/off switch 7, and a calculation control unit 3. According to a control program, a start time of power supply to a load detection unit 1 of the electronic balance is set to a time which is a warming time Twa before the use start time, and the power on/off switch 7 is turned on at the power supply start time and is turned off at the end time. A value corresponding to the temperature at the time of power supply is selected for warming time Twa. Moreover, a program for measuring a warming time which is required for stabilization of drift data including during and after warming time, i.e., "Twa measurement", is executed simultaneously in parallel, and measurement data on the warming time corresponding to the temperature at the start of warming is stored.
