<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler performance evaluation device and a method in which efficiency of a boiler room can be determined easily and accurately on real time. <P>SOLUTION: A boiler room output heat quantity calculating means 26 calculates the sum total of heat absorbed quantity absorbed in the inside of a boiler 11 out of input heat quantity to the boiler 11 as boiler room output heat quantity E1, an exhaust gas loss quantity calculating means 27 calculates heat quantity which cannot be absorbed in the inside of the boiler 11 out of input heat quantity to the boiler 11 as exhaust gas loss quantity E2, and a boiler room efficiency calculating means 28 calculates boiler room efficiency η by obtaining that difference between boiler room output heat quantity E1 calculated by the boiler room output heat quantity calculating means 26 and exhaust gas loss quantity E2 calculated by the exhaust gas loss quantity calculating means 27 is divided by the boiler room output heat quantity E1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
