PURPOSE: A visual lightening arrest diagnostic system and a method thereof using a light wave distance measuring method are provided to be applied in an evaluation target by using a 3D analysis. CONSTITUTION: A visual lightening arrest diagnostic system comprises an optical wave measuring part(60), an image taking part(10) and a controller(30). The optical wave measuring part enables a user to check at a long distance for the evaluation of the lightning equipment or structure. The optical wave measuring part measures distance using the light wave distance measuring part. The controller performs lightening arrest diagnosis in the visual image by using a lightening arrest diagnostic program built in the storage(50).
