<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refer to transmission history information according to setting about whether a plurality of transmission methods can be used. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 200 has a transmission function of transmitting data to another device using one of a plurality of transmission methods. A CPU 201 records the history of a transmission job executed by the image forming device in a RAM 203 or HD 210 as the transmission history information containing at least a transmission destination.
