<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake device capable of assembling a strut assembly under such a condition where a brake shoe is placed on a back plate. <P>SOLUTION: The drum brake device includes a shoe clearance automatic adjusting device of incremental type.
