<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of abnormal noise attributable to pulsation of the oil pressure in an oil feeding apparatus of an internal combustion engine having a pressure-regulating mechanism which can vary the relief pressure according to the operating condition of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The oil feeding apparatus 1 has a second passage 82 for feeding oil to be discharged from an oil pump 5 to each part of the engine, and a pressure-regulating mechanisms 10 provided on the second passage 82. The pressure-regulating mechanism 10 relieves a part of oil when the pressure of oil reaches or exceeds the relief pressure. Further, by displacing a communication hole 44 of a sleeve valve 40, the opening position of a relief valve 30 is changed, and the relief pressure is changed thereby. An expansion chamber 27 to be expanded in the direction in which a passage part 21 is orthogonal to the oil flow direction (upwardly in the vertical direction) is provided on the upstream side from an introduction part 22 in a passage part 21 (the second passage 82) of a housing 20 of the pressure-regulating mechanism 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
