<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a relay device to quickly determine outgoing ports for a received packet among all ports provided therein, when the destination MAC address of the received packet is not stored in a routing table. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device receives a packet which belongs to any one of groups. When the destination of the received packet is not listed in a routing table, the relay device reads out only destination bitmap data which denotes ports for the group from bitmap data for all ports provided in LIUs, and sends out the packet according to the read data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
