<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus enabling fine sampling pitch and high-density data acquisition when a helical scan is executed using a FFS (Flying Focal Spot) method. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray irradiation unit configured to irradiate an X-ray, an X-ray detector having a plurality of X-ray detection elements along a channel direction and a row direction, a couch on which the subject can be arranged, a supporting unit on which the X-ray irradiation unit and the X-ray detector are oppositely disposed and rotate around the couch, a controller configured to execute a helical scan while fluctuating an X-ray focal spot along a moving direction of the couch by controlling the X-ray irradiation unit, and an image processing unit configured to generate a reconstructed image based on data acquired by the helical scan, wherein the controller is configured to set a magnitude of fluctuation of the X-ray focal spot so that data acquisition loci of the helical scan do not overlap each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
