<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of easily and surely assembling electromagnetic shields, brushes and brush holders, and further to provide a motor with a decelerator and a sun roof driving device. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a pair of brushes 5 that is disposed on both sides by interposing a commutator disposed on an armature therebetween and supplies power by slidingly contacting with the commutator; brush holders 43 that accommodate the pair of brushes 5 so as to allow the pair of brushes 5 to freely advance or retreat with respect to the commutator; and holder stays 44a and 44b for supporting the brush holders 43.
