<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile communication system and a communication terminal device that allow an originating communication terminal device to instruct a receiving communication terminal device to perform an operation using a simple method without the need for providing the receiving communication terminal device with special means for detecting number of cadence. <P>SOLUTION: An instruction code for an operation to be executed by a receiving multifunctional machine 1, which is included in TSI information used in facsimile communication, is sent from an originating facsimile device. The multifunctional machine 1 as a receiving communication terminal device supports originating telephone number notification service. An originating telephone number acquisition section 2 acquires an originating telephone number, and a TSI information acquisition section 3 acquires TSI information.
