UMBRELLA-SHAPED TIP EXPANSION ANCHOR FOR ASEISMATIC REINFORCEMENT AND ASEISMATIC REINFORCING METHOD FOR STRUCTURE IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella-shaped tip expansion anchor for aseismatic reinforcement, the tip expansion anchor capable of exerting a holding force onto a surface on the ground side of a structure in contact with ground, the structure that cannot be reinforced by a steel plate, thereby reinforcing a side wall of the structure; and provide an aseismatic reinforcing method for a structure in contact with ground using the anchor.

SOLUTION: An aseismatic reinforcing method for a structure in contact with the ground includes the steps of: forming a bore hole 4 in the side wall 2; plugging the bore hole 4 with an umbrella-shaped tip expansion anchor 5 that includes a hollow rod 7 and an expandable tip part; forming the expanded tip part by applying a tensile load at the rear end of the hollow rod 7 to cause the branched steel rods of an umbrella-shaped tip expansion mechanism, which is arranged on the tip side of the hollow rod 7 and expandable, to be fixed onto the ground-side surface 2B of the side wall 2 of the structure; filling the expanded tip part with cement 10 from the surface 2A of the side wall via the internal hole of the hollow rod 7 to form a steel bar/cement expanded part 11; and installing a side wall reinforcement steel plate 12 to firmly fix the side wall 2 onto the ground 1.
