The present invention relates an automatic fire-extinguishing apparatus for a heater, in which a flaming wick is automatically lowered at a preset stoppage time of the heater to automatically extinguish the heater so as to prevent unnecessary fuel consumption and the outbreak of a fire. The automatic fire-extinguishing apparatus comprises: a timer; a wick elevator configured to lift and lower a wick; and interlocking means including a plurality of assemblies interlocked between the timer and a wick-driving shaft of the wick elevator, so as to automatically lower the wick at a preset stoppage time of the timer. |
