Disclosed in the present invention are a scheduling processing method and a user equipment in a multi-carrier system, wherein said method includes that: in a scheduling gap a User Equipment (UE) stops receiving and transmitting data on all carriers; or in the scheduling gap the UE stops receiving and transmitting data on the carrier which is being adjusted, and receives and/or transmits data on one or more carriers except the carrier which is being adjusted. The present invention can prevent loss of data in a scheduling gap, avoid degradation of reliability and stability of data transmission in a scheduling gap, and in addition ensure as far as possible that data transmission of a UE in a scheduling gap is not interrupted.
