HYBRID STORAGE SYSTEM FOR A MULTI-LEVEL RAID ARCHITECTURE

PURPOSE: A hybrid storage system for a multi-level RAID(Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk) architecture is provided to support the low data processing speed of a host by controlling a data signal in which is transmitted and received between a host and a memory disk. CONSTITUTION: A DDR(Double Data Rate) RAID control apparatus(824) is combined with a hybrid RAID control apparatus(802). A set of DDR RAID control blocks(830A, 830N) is combined with the DDR RAID control apparatus and includes a DDR memory disk. An HDD(Hard Disk Drive) and flash RAID control unit(826) is combined with the hybrid RAID control apparatus. One set of the DDR RAID control blocks(842A,842N) is combined with the HDD(Hard Disk Drive) and flash RAID control unit and includes HDD and flash SSD(Solid State Disk) unit.
