摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of attaining at least one of: widening an irradiating range by one light-emitting substrate; and illuminating a range corresponding to a joint between the light-emitting substrates. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device 1 includes a light-emitting element chip 12 and a lens array 20. The light-emitting element chip 12 has a plurality of light-emitting elements E. Each light-emitting element E is a first light-emitting portion arranged on the light-emitting element chip 12, or a second light-emitting portion arranged at a location closer to an end of the light-emitting element chip 12 than the first light-emitting portion. The lens array 20 has a plurality of lens array units 22. The lens array unit 22 has a plurality of microlenses M respectively opposite to the plurality of light-emitting elements E. Each microlens M is a first lens opposite to the first light-emitting portion, or a second lens opposite to the second light-emitting portion.
