<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive output voltage of a switching power supply without the use of a high withstand voltage element or a high rating current element, and without increasing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A switching power supply 1 includes: diodes D1-D6 rectifying output power of an alternator 200; a switching element Q1 switching on and off between a rectification circuit including the diodes D1-D6 and a load connected to an output terminal OUT1; an inductor L blunting a voltage waveform outputted from the switching element Q1; a switching element Q2 switching on and off between an output end of the inductor L and an output terminal OUT2; and a controller 10 controlling the switching elements Q1 and Q2. The controller 10 controls the switching element Q1 to perform an intermittent oscillation operation and the switching element Q2 to be on when an output voltage Vgen of the three-phase alternator 200 becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
