Disclosed are a method, an apparatus, and a system for sending multimedia messages, and the method includes: obtaining the group sending multimedia message content from a multimedia message center according to the request for extracting the group sending multimedia message from a first terminal (S201); buffering the group sending multimedia message content (S202); receiving the subsequent request for extracting the group sending multimedia message from a second terminal, and sending the buffered group sending multimedia message content to the second terminal (S203). By the method of the invention, the purposes of reducing the information flows between a Wireless Access Protocol Gateway (WAPGW) and a Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC), saving bandwidth resources, avoiding message congestion, and improving terminal user experiences can be implemented. |
