<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of emitting illumination light having high visibility of an irradiation target at least in a dark place, and a vehicular headlamp using the lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The headlamp 1 includes a semiconductor laser 2 for emitting excitation light, a first phosphor having its emission spectrum peak in a range of 500 nm or more and 520 nm or less, a second phosphor having its emission spectrum peak different from the first phosphor, and a light-emitting section 5 for light-emitting by receiving the excitation light emitted from the semiconductor laser 2. In the spectrum of light emitted from the light-emitting section 5, the emission intensity at the emission spectrum peak of the first phosphor is larger than emission intensity of the emission spectrum in a range of 540 nm or more and 570 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
