摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for firing a molybdenum-containing material to prepare molybdenum oxide useful as a raw material for a (meth)acrylic acid production catalyst having prolonged catalytic life. <P>SOLUTION: The method for firing the molybdenum-containing material uses a kiln having a feeding port for the molybdenum-containing material at one end and a discharging port for the molybdenum-containing material at the other end, provided with a plurality of heating means arranged along longitudinal direction of the kiln, and directly blasting an oxygen-containing gas against the molybdenum-containing material at the feeding port side and the discharging port side in the kiln to fire the molybdenum-containing material. The feeding rate of the oxygen-containing gas at the discharging port side is not lower than the feeding rate of the oxygen-containing gas at the feeding port side, and the outputs of the multiple heating means are set to increase from the feeding port side toward the discharging port side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
