<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor having an auxiliary device that is provided with a cover member that prevents water or foreign objects from getting inside, has improved detachability from the auxiliary device, and prevents lead wires from becoming hindrances while protecting the lead wires, and to provide a single-axis robot and an expansion device provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A motor A having an auxiliary device includes a motor main body 10, a resolver 20, and a cover member 30 that covers the resolver 20. The cover member 30 has: an end-surface covering portion 31 that covers an open-side end surface of the resolver 20; and an extension portion 33 that defines an auxiliary-device-side conduit together with an outer circumferential surface of the resolver 20 and also defines a motor-main-body-side conduit 36 together with a casing 11 of the motor main body 10. The motor-main-body-side conduit 36 communicates with the auxiliary-device-side conduit and has an opening at an end.
