<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor with reduced input loss achieved by reducing the sliding loss occurring between the tip end of a vane and the outer peripheral surface of a piston. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary compressor includes: a cylinder; an upper bearing and a lower bearing which are fastened to both end surfaces of the cylinder to form a cylinder chamber; a shaft 4 having an eccentric part provided between the upper bearing and the lower bearing; a piston 9 fitted to the eccentric part of the shaft 4; a vane 11 abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the piston 9 to partition the cylinder chamber into an intake chamber and a compression chamber; and a vane groove 10 provided in the cylinder for the vane 11 to reciprocate therein. The pressing force biased to the vane 11 is reduced by offsetting the arc center of the tip end of the vane 11 to the intake chamber side from the center line in the thickness direction of the vane 11, thereby improving the lubrication conditions of the contact surface of the tip end of the vane 11 and the outer peripheral surface of the piston 9, thus reducing the sliding loss. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
