<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cold rolling, which prevents an embrittlement phenomenon during forming, removes residual stress from a formed article with a finished or nearly-finished cross section without having a bending process, and forms an article with a small load, and also to provide a method for cold rolling. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for cold rolling by applying vibrations applies forming stress to a strip-shaped steel plate 100 by running the plate 100 through a pair of rotating rollers 12 and 13 and forms the plate 100 into the desired shape. The apparatus includes: a roller rotating mechanism 14 which rotates an upper roller 12 in a direction which the plate 100 moves; a section 16 which applies vibrations to a lower roller 13 through the plate 100 by vibrating the upper roller 12; and a rotary motor 11 which applies drive force for rotating rollers by the mechanism 14 and force for generating vibrations by the section 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
