<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sure that the pavement surface in the neighborhood of a side ditch is not in a steep slope in an overlay pavement so as to secure the safe passage of vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians and to repair deteriorated top face and side ditch cover of the side ditch body. <P>SOLUTION: A male or female insert is installed on the top face of a side wall of the existing side ditch body, and the cover-less side ditch body is covered with a new cast-iron-plate cover. Then a bolt or a nut is screwed on the insert from the new cover to be fixed, and the overlay pavement is carried out to be in contact with the new cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
