<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when both connectors are disconnected by receiving external force, the connectors need to be connected manually and connection operation by a worker possibly becomes complicated with respect to a conventional connector attaching/detaching device. <P>SOLUTION: An adapter device includes a first adapter which has a first opposite face 12 and is mounted on communication equipment, a second adapter which has a second opposite face 22 opposed to the first opposite face, and on which a communication cable is mounted detachably, a first magnet M1 which protrudes from the first opposite face, a second magnet M2 which protrudes from the second opposite face at a position opposed to the first magnet so that the first and second opposite faces are at a predetermined distance from each other when the second magnet is attracted to the first magnet, and a conductive wire to which the first magnet and second magnet are connected in series in a state where the magnets are attracted between one end and the other end, and which is used to detect whether the first and second magnets leave each other in accordance with external force to the first and second adapters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
