<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of achieving further downsizing and low-cost by improving arrangement efficiency of a cantilever. <P>SOLUTION: The optical scanner comprises: a movable plate 55 having a reflection surface 55a that reflects incident light; torsion beams 56 and 57 that support the movable plate turnably and extend in the directions opposite to each other from the movable plate; cantilevers 51 and 52 whose one end is a fixed end and the other end is a movable end to which each end edge of the torsion beam connected, and which reciprocate and rotate the movable plate by bending vibration; and a support frame 50 to which the fixed end of the cantilever is connected and in which the cantilever, torsion beam, and movable plate are arranged for supporting the cantilever, torsion beam, and movable plate. At least a portion of the cantilever is nearly parallel to a longitudinal direction in which the torsion beam extends, and is a longitudinal direction portion arranged adjacent to the torsion beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
