PURPOSE: A cleansing composition for preventing alopecia without blood pressure increase is provided to promote hair growth during cleaning hair. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing alopecia and improving hair growth without blood pressure increase contains 7-13 weight parts of Hoveniae Semen cum Fructus, 6.0-7.5 weight parts of Smilacis Rhizoma, 6.0-7.0 weight parts of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge var. typical Schneider, 6.8-7.8 weight parts of Snakegourd root, 4.7-6.7 weight parts of Paeoniae Radix, and 3.5-5.5 weight parts of Moutan Cortex Radicis. The composition additionally contains 1.5-3.5 weight parts of glycerine, 1.5-3.5 weight parts of honey, 2-4 weight parts of potassium carbonate, 1-3 weight parts of sodium sulfate, 1-3 weight parts of calcium carbonate, 1-2 weight parts of magnesium carbonate, 0.1-0.3 weight parts of ferric oxide, or 0.1-0.3 weight parts of boric acid. The composition is manufactured in the form of a spray, cream, shampoo, or soap.
