<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine true or false especially with respect to a substitution expression in the middle of conversion of an arbitrary operation expression input. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic equipment comprises a keyboard 18 for inputting an equation regarding an original variable, a substitution expression in which a substitution variable is indicated as a formula of the original variable, and a conversion expression which is obtained by converting the equation regarding the original variable; a touch input portion 21; and a control portion (CPU) 11 which calculates a solution of the original variable input, substitutes the solution of the original variable into the substitution expression input, calculates a value of a substituted variable, calculates, when a substitution equation in which the equation is indicated by the substituted variable is input, a solution of the substituted variable regarding the substitution equation, determines whether the solution of the substituted variable and the value of the substituted value accord with each other or not, and makes a liquid crystal display (LCD) 20 display information according to a result of the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
