The automation of the Hess-Lancaster test has the main purpose of performing said test with an increased reliability and fastness, trying to improve the conditions established between the specialist and the patient, also reducing the number of people involved therein, since a translucent screen is used not only for allowing the light projected by the lamp to be visualised by the patient without reflection but also for replacing the physician manual signalling, thus continuing with the capture, using a web cam, of the points marked by the patient, this replacing the person who was in charged of marking the points, and ending with the digital processing of the acquired images by means of an algorithm designed for turning the test into more reliable and quick test.
